Able Seaman (AB) – Oil Tanker Salary: USD 900 per month
Vessel Type: Oil Products Tanker, built 2007, Liberia flag Key Requirements
Valid STCW AB Certificate (II/5).
Previous experience as AB on oil/chemical tankers (similar type/size).
Familiarity with EU or Dutch port operations is an advantage.
Understanding of tanker safety standards (SOLAS, MARPOL, ISM Code).
Good physical condition and teamwork skills.
Basic English proficiency for onboard communication.
Responsibilities
Assist in deck operations: mooring, unmooring, anchoring.
Perform routine maintenance: painting, chipping, cleaning, greasing.
Stand lookout and assist with navigation watches as directed.
Support cargo operations under supervision of officers.
Participate in safety drills and follow onboard emergency procedures.
Maintain housekeeping and comply with company safety policies.
